We had so much fun on Halloween. All of our friends came over for our traditional Halloween dinner, "Halloweenies". Delicious. Then we went trick-or-treating and got a ton of candy. Our neighbors set up a big spook alley in their garage. They out did themselves this year. Britta was so scared of the Vampire she almost cried. Elizabeth and her friends, Ali and Alyson took the little kids around for a while and then got to go out by themselves for a while too. I love this neighborhood, there are so many good friends. We had a blast. Britta was a spider fairy. Libs was a Viking. Caleb was a mummy, and Milo was the cutest little blue eyed bear ever.

Barney's are Blogging
Well now that we have a blog, I guess that I am going to have to find interesting things about our mundane life to write about. I will try to make our day to day stuff sound fun and exciting.
Milo had a well check today, yes I know its 2 months late, but hey he got there, and he seems no worse for the wear. He is still big, but no longer in the 98 percent. He is slowing down a bit, he is 20# and 5oz. which is only the 50th percentile. He is still in the 80th for length. Steve says they should do a strength test, because we are sure he is the strongest baby ever. I am sure he is off the charts for his temper, but they don't gauge those things. He had to get shots, and that's always a bit traumatic, especially for Caleb. He kept saying "that is so sad, that is sooo sad". He asked if next time Milo has to get shots if he can stand on the stool and hold his hand, I told him that I have to hold his hand so that he doesn't try and push the nurses away while they are giving him the shot, but he is sure that if he is holding his hand it will make him feel a lot better. I cant argue with that.
Elizabeth did baptisms for the dead yesterday. She was so excited to do it and she had a great time even though she was the only girl that went at all, including leaders. Keri, our neighbor asked Britta where Elizabeth was and She told her that she was "baptising dead people" needless to say I had to explain it to Britta, it was funny. Libs was nervous, but she did it and said that it was a really neat experience.
She is such a good girl. I think she is ready to get back to school and see her friends on a regular basis. She has done a ton of babysitting this summer and has earned a bunch of money, but I think she is ready to play with kids her age. I am having a really hard time wrapping my head around the fact they they go back in less than two weeks and that Libs will be going into junior high. We have had a fun summer, but I cant believe it is almost over. I always feel like we should have done more, but I think no matter what, it goes by to quickly.
Britta has had so much fun playing with her friends, Noelle and Madi all summer. She is so lucky to have such good friends that live so close. They have had so much fun and it has been so fun to watch them enjoy the summer. I miss being a kid when I see them playing outside late at night and playing water games and having picnics. Its a good thing I am able to live through them now that I am an adult.
Well my first post sounds like a Christmas news letter, but oh well.

I have been talking for six months about cutting Caleb's hair off and today I finally did it. It is so cute and he looks so big now. His eyes look huge. He looks like his ready for school too, but he still has another year until kindergarten. His preschool starts in September and he will be going with two other little boys in the neighborhood. It should be a lot of fun for him. It will be just me and Milo three days a week, and I must say that doesn't sound to bad. Now if I can just find somewhere to stick him a couple days a week. Ha Ha.
